Our client is a young and innovative startup/scaleup based in Utrecht, specializing in providing the real estate market with the most accurate data and information products. With around 45 people, our small organization fosters an informal startup culture. We lead the way in the Netherlands, offering data-driven services, tools, and insights in the real estate market, utilizing the latest technology in cloud, software development, and data science. 

As an experienced  Software Engineer C#.Net, you enjoy taking ownership and initiative. You thrive in a small, international, and closely-knit team environment. Your responsibilities will include developing functionalities in existing software and contributing to new projects from inception. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop clean, efficient C# code for APIs, tools, and applications
• Create unit tests and integration tests
• Design high-quality solutions and architecture
• Review and debug code written by other engineers
• Coach and mentor junior software engineers
• Contribute to technical design documentation
• Participate in innovation, new ideas, and hackathons

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer (C#.Net)
• Proficiency with the latest versions of .NET and C#
• Experience with SQL, Elastic Search, and Git distributed version control
• Demonstrated experience in developing cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP or Azure
• Understanding of agile principles
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
• “Automate everything" mindset
