We are seeking an experienced Senior Back End Engineer (Golang) to join our team and help enhance the quality, reliability, and performance of our platform. Our system architecture includes multiple components designed to meet the needs of the complex capital markets sector. Our Securities Lending workflows involve pre-trade, trade matching, ongoing lifecycle management, reporting, and multiple connectivity layers and endpoints. We have developed a robust UI and an API layer for direct server-to-server integration. You will collaborate closely with our engineering and business teams to address internal and external infrastructure needs. We are looking for someone passionate about delivering a high-quality customer experience and anticipating the demands of a rapidly scaling and complex ecosystem.

Our tech stack: Vuejs, Golang, GCP, Kubernetes.

Your profile:
- 7 -10+ years of extensive working experience as a Software engineer.
- Working experience with modern backend frameworks like Go or Python or Java or Scala.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud and/or Kubernetes.
- Working experience within a startup that experienced rapid growth and supported a large diverse user base OR working experience within capital markets infrastructure, including exchanges, trading venues, and clearance and settlement ecosystems.
- Knowledge of equity, fixed income, and derivatives products and trading strategies.
- Understanding of financing markets and underlying workflows.
- Understanding of execution systems and related components such as smart order routers and algorithmic trading products.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
- Ability to own and drive backend projects from inception to implementation.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through; a strong appreciation for well-designed, simple, maintainable systems.
- Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to tackle problems in real-time.
- Ability to work in environments with minimal tolerance for error and high SLAs; a perfectionist streak is advantageous but should not be impractical—remember, perfect is the enemy of good.
- Knowledge of or experience in the financial services industry, particularly with institutional trading applications, is a plus but not essential.
- Deep passion for your work, whether the tasks are mundane or enjoyable.
