We are seeking our client First Senior Product Designer (UX) to join our client's team in Amsterdam and play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality, reliability, and performance of their cutting-edge platform. As the first Senior Product Designer (UX) on the team, you'll have a significant impact on product design and will eventually lead the expansion of the Product Design team.

The system's architecture consists of multiple components, meticulously designed to address the intricate needs of the capital markets sector. The Securities Lending workflows include pre-trade, trade matching, lifecycle management, reporting, and various connectivity layers and endpoints. With a robust UI and an API layer for seamless server-to-server integration, you'll work closely with engineering and business teams to meet both internal and external infrastructure needs.

Tech stack: Vue.js, Golang, GCP, Kubernetes.

Experience required:

* Significant experience in Capital Markets B2B, including exchanges, trading venues, clearance, and settlement ecosystems, 

OR

* Proven success in a rapidly growing startup environment in the Netherlands.

In this dynamic startup environment, as the first Senior Product Designer (UX), you will:

* Lead the design process for our B2B trading software, from user research to crafting polished, intuitive interfaces.
* Conduct user research focused on B2B traders in the US market, translating insights into actionable designs.
* Design user-centric UIs that prioritize efficiency and clarity, ensuring a seamless experience for B2B trading activities.
* Develop high-fidelity prototypes, test with users, and iterate to optimize platform functionality and usability.
* Collaborate closely with product managers to define requirements, user stories, and feature roadmaps tailored to the B2B trading landscape.
* Stay ahead of design trends and best practices in FinTech and B2B trading software.

To excel in this role, you will have:
* 7+ years of experience as a product designer or similar role.
* Experience in a high-growth startup or within capital markets (exchanges, trading venues, clearance, and settlement).
* Knowledge of equity, fixed income, and derivatives products and trading strategies.
* Understanding of financing markets, underlying workflows, and execution systems, including smart order routers and algorithmic trading products.
* A strong portfolio showcasing your B2B trading software design expertise.
* Proven experience with user research methodologies tailored for B2B traders.
* Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
* A deep understanding of user-centered design principles for B2B software.
* A solid grasp of product management fundamentals with a focus on B2B products.
* A passion for financial technology and creating innovative solutions for the B2B trading landscape.
