As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and building robust data systems while staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. You’ll excel in this role by maintaining, testing, and optimizing datasets, and collaborating with key stakeholders to transform organizational needs into effective solutions for Data Analysts and Data Scientists. Our Data Engineering & AI squad takes on impactful projects for high-profile clients such as KLM, ASLM, and major government agencies.

Your Squad:
You’ll be part of a diverse team, with over 250 colleagues across different fields of expertise. Our Data Engineers tackle a wide range of projects for both public sector and large commercial clients. The Data Engineering & AI squad specifically consists of 15 talented professionals, working together on meaningful and challenging projects.

What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Data Science.
• At least 8-10 years of IT experience, with 6-8 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Big Data technologies.
• Strong skills in designing, building, troubleshooting, and monitoring ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python or Java, or Scala is essential, with preferred experience in Hadoop, Spark, Flink, or Snowflake.
• Fluency in English is required.
• You have no limitations to work in the Netherlands.
